"Yesterday is something of the past, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift...that is why it is called the present" - Master Oogway
It's only been a few days since I've gone back to school. Within the past year, I've been an animation student. During that time, I was able to meet amazing new people, adopt a different artistic vision and even became a little more open minded too. But most of all, I developed the confidence to do something I either hadn't done before or thought I couldn't, not bothering to try anything even close in the past
So that's why, as of August 25, 2016, I've pledged to draw 101 (originally 365) sketchbook illustrations to be hopefully completed within a year (I originally wanted to do one everyday, but was unable to as a result of the demands of school and workloads). It's something I've always wanted to do, but never had it in me to try because I was afraid of giving up or making too many mistakes... But I guess it's the mistakes we make that bring us closer to who we want to become
I'm hoping that by completing this project, I'll not only make mistakes, but improve upon the ones that I've made before, every step if the way until the end (hopefully). A lot can happen in a year, but the unpredictability of it is the best part
Guess that's all I have to say about that for now. Here goes nothing, aside after maybe replacing a couple of worn down pencils and dried up markers. Hope it's worth it!
